'C-in-C' Med' Congratulates Minesweepers. 10,000^th Mine Swept.

"Admiral Sir John Cunningham Commander-in-Chief Mediterrananean Fleet, has sent a message of congratulation to all mine-sweepers on their achievement in sweeping 10,000 of the estimated number of mines that had been laid in the Mediterranean.

The distinction of sweeping the 10,000^th went to H.M.S. Rosario

The message was addressed to British sailors and those of American, French, Greek, Italian and Turkish navies who assisted the British navy.
