Times of Malta 20th February 1945 Page 3 Surrender at Ancona (Reuters Service) ALLIED H.Q. MED, May 7 Today's Allied communique says that it is reported from the Northern Adriatic that the total of enemy craft surrendered at Ancona is now 23 including one small submarine, 7 E-boats and 5 F lighters. Over 1,300 naval prisoners were landed from these vessels. Minesweepng in the Northern Adriatic continues. A small force of the Balkan Air Force fighters, yesterday attacked motor traffic North West of Fiume No other offensive missions were flown by the M.A.A.F. |
