A dispatch vessel at Trafalgar commanded by Captain Fielding (the lozenge). First Lieutenant was John Lapenotiere (the ears of wheat and fleur-de-lys). (1944). Blue; a caduceus erect and two ears of wheat in saltire gold surmounted by a lozenge gold charged with a fleur-de-lys blue.
Creseit sub pondere virtus; Courage grows under difficulties.
In allusion to the name, which dates from 1794. (Ship adopted by Swandlincote). (1944). White; a lobster displayed proper. (1945). Blue; a fox terrier statant guardant proper. The God of Hades. (The ship was a mniesweeper). (1946). Black; a bust of Pluto habited in a lionskin headdress the sinister hand grasping a spear entwined with a serpent all gold.

The Horn of Plenty or abundance. Name given to the R.N. Base at Ramsgate 1940-1944. (1944). Blue; a cornucopia gold.

Blue; two swords in saltire white pommels and hilts gold enfiled by a spur also gold. (Latin for little Rome). The founding of Rome was allegedly through a she-wolf. The ship was a minesweeper.
